Quick door lock actuator question

Will a rear door lock actuator work in the front for a 92 explorer.I have one bad and also have a wrecked door with good guts.Is this possible to use before I rip into it??

I figured it out.They both interchange, just had to change the hook that goes to the linkage to the door lock.Works like a charm.
