so I just got a 2003 explorer xlt v6 and its loaded out. a little adjusting to do coming from my 02 explorer sport 2wd. In my 02, as you guys may know the exhaust system went from headers-cat-02 sensor-cat-resonator-muffler. what I did was bought a flowmaster that fit the stock piping size and cut everything off after the 02 sensor and just installed the flowmaster. (leaving just one cat in and never interfearing with the sensor) it worked out great. not sure if the 03 has the same exhaust pattern, anyone familiar with it or tweaked with the exhaust?
