I can send you my address or my paypal addy, LOL...

loll I wouldn't send me your address, you might wake up with a few parts missing from your truck tomorrow

Hahaha!

$250 is awfully close to a body lift. :D

Of course, that opens up the need for bigger tires which don't fit into that budget. But the more time you spend on here, the more you'll find everyone on here is absolute experts at spending YOUR money.

More practical: a good set of shocks is one of my favorite upgrades to date. RS5000s were my choice and I couldn't be happier but I have had good luck with Bilsteins and even more so KYB on my wife's (former) Tahoe.

save it, and then save more. than you can get some tires. biggest visual change you can make to your rig. or you can scrounge up another hundo and you can get some lockers.

LOL.

I gotta agree with Hugh, if you haven't already swapped your shocks out yet then that's a great investment.

Also I'd do a full tune-up, oil, coolant, trans, transfer case and rear diff fluids. Ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes, etc... Routine maintenance is always overlooked for custom mods and usually not taken care of until it's too late.

Yeah, save it. That'll be your best bet lol.

Unless, of course, you have a hard time saving (like me...). In that case, maybe... uhmm... Speakers? I know you said you have a stereo and sub but if you don't have speakers you could always upgrade =P Or maybe a muffler/straightpipe/etc? Maybe even the overhead console mod. OOOO and forum decals!!!

ha I've been anti saving lately, I saved for my down payment on the truck so that I could just sell my car after and pay the payments for a while with what I made off the car.

so I kept myself on a tight budget for a few months and now I have the itching to spend.

okay well I just sold my old phone (upgraded to iPhone 4s)

sooo now I have about $420 to blow

not interested in a body lift/tires ect until I run these ones that are on it down a bit

it had a full tune up at the dealership (fluids/plugs/wires ect)

^I second that motion! :)

Also some bed liner? A locking gas cap too... damn people down here. Like 6 houses were broken into in my neighborhood over the past week. I'm not exaggerating either. I'm sure some have thought about siphoning fuel. And on the topic of fuel, a skid plate for the gas tank!! I bent a "strap" on mine my first time taking the truck off road and I was quoted at about 200 for a custom skid plate. Talk to Wicked Customs about it.

There is a Ranger fuel tank skid plate that fit the Sport Trac but there are two of them and I haven't figured out which of the two is the right one.

Hmm, what are the prices like for them?

Haven't dug that far, but I'd assume less than $200. I really don't know, though.

I hope to build my own this summer. Along with sliders and a front skid plate.

Well I'll get back to you on prices of them :)

and I wish I had a welder. It would be so nice to be able to weld my own stuff...

if you dont want to save it up and you you now have 420 to spend, i would suggest doing a combination of things. maybe you could switch up your shocks if you are still sitting on the stockers, then get an aux light set up. or you could invest the money in tools and and/or a welding set up. or, you could an aftermarket audio setup. a good head unit and a set of good door speakers can also be had for under 420. you could also go with a catback exhaust system if you look hard enough. ive seen the gibson catback setup for under 400 online.

you guys are so A.D.D. lol

Lono thank you for the suggestions, I already have a stereo/sub set up and aux lights

my dad has every tool under the sun and my step dad has access to a full welding shop (he is who built my light bar)

so I don't need any of that stuff

checking out shocks though, I think my trac rides pretty nice so I am not sure if they have been replaced or if I just get so beat up in my dad's jeep that I think the trac rides nice lol

The stock shocks are very...giving lol. When mine came off they were permanently compressed about 1" inward than how they normally should. I also have RS5000's and even tho I don't wheel as much as Hugh or some of the other dudes, I like mine. And if you got those you could install them with your shackles too! That's what I did. Turned it into a new truck in a day.

But at the same time, 4 new speakers and an amp for them is incredible! :D haha. I'm stalled out on my new audio build and I'm running 4 HiFonics speakers and an amp putting about 45w in each of them and it'll rattle my Mirrors plenty... Or at least till my 2 shallow Pioneers and my 2000w amp get bought :/ my birthday is next weekend and I'm really hoping for new tires! :D lol
