quick question

I want to repaint my center console just the cup holder area. I have seen right ups everywhere on how to remove the entire thing, but always one part is left out. Just to cup holder/ash tray area, does that piece just pop out or are there any clips or screws do I have to remove first?

Just pops out. You have to pull the piece closest to the front first than the cup holder last. Its just clips no screws
