Recently picked up an 04 EX LTD with the OEM 17" Chromes, and 60% life BF Long Trails.

I'm not a chrome guy though (yes the roof rack drives me nuts). I want to swap them out for some Black Cragar 397s with either Falken Rocky Mountain ATS's or BF All-Terrain T/As.

My questions are, if I want a little more width, and don't care to change the diameter a lot (would prefer to go up rather than down), which size would be best? 255/65-16?

Offsets on the 16x8 Cragars is listed as 13, how does this compare with stock? I'm not going to be sucking the wheels in further, am I?

Anyone have any other tire recommendations? I reside in MN so every element is fair game.

About a month ago, I think I would have been asking the same question. I ended up getting the Rocky Mountains based on price and necessity. If I had the money to pick between the two, I think I'd have chosen the BF Goodrich AT. I also would've liked to throw on the Cragar's. Post some pics when you get it all figured out!

$30 worth of spray paint and primer could do the job for the wheels. Personally I like the stock wheels. I wanted to buy a new set of wheels as well but I just ditched that and will be putting it towards bigger tires.

Do you like the Rocky Mountains? Its a fairly sizeable price gap between the two. How are they on the pavement? Seems like they would look good on there. What size did you go with?

I would do the paint option but these 17" chromes with nice tires should fetch a decent amount of coin. Plus they probably wouldn't look great black.
