Quick tire size help will they rub badly?

I currently have shackles on the rear for 2" lift and my torsion bars jacked up all the way for 3" in the front. I was able to fit 31x10.5x15 with only 1" lift in the front and stock rear.

There is somebody selling their Pirelli Scorpions 33x12.5x15 cheap for only $140 with lots of tread left. Since I was able to fit 31" pretty much stock could I fit these 33x12.5's? These would be on my stock rims.

In about 2 weeks I am doing the double add a leaf in the rear and will be installing longer torsion bar bolts for an extra 1.5" in the front.

So basically my question is can I fit 33x12.5x15 tires with 3" lift in front and 2" lift in rear? I don't do any offroading yet so I won't be fully compressing them.

NO, they will rub incredibly! For that price on the tires tho, it may be worth looking into a body lift. Then you will be able to fit them with little or no trimming.

For that price, try to make them fit. With 4.5" in the front and 4" in the rear they will fit, but you will need to get out the sawzall and grinder. It won't be too bad hopefully. If you're good with the grinder most people won't notice the trimming.

So 4.5" of TT and War/double aal in the rear? It's doable. Remember, I ran 33x12.50s for 3 months with 2.5 front and rear, lots of trimming though and I eventually got the Perry's fenders.

Well I am waiting on my double add a leaf so that would give me 4 - 4.5" lift in the rear and 4.5" in the front when I get the longer bolts.

I can't find a picture of these tires. Can anybody tell me how agressive they are?

The scorpion AT is a good tire for moderate wheeling and the road. The scorpion I is better left onroad.

Is it just the front that I am worried about rubbing? If I take off the air dam would that help? I am just not sure what part will be rubbing?

Under most driving: the front bumper and rear of the front fenders. With lots of compression you're gonna rub the inner fender liner (plastic), but with stock rims will most likely not rub on the outer steel fender. You will rub the front swaybar with the stock rims, but hopefully not other suspension components.

In the rear you'll probably just rub on the inner fender upon compression, but most tires do that anyway.

So yes, it is just the front. With the 4-4.5" you'll probably have to cut about an inch off the corner of the front bumper, and the airdam if it goes back that far. You'll have to cut portions off the inner liner, and you'll have to cut about an inch off the bottom rear corners of your front fenders and possibly have to pound back the pinchweld on the firewall a bit.

All-in-all it is very doable and go for it!
