I recently had a problem with the left side speakers cutting out so I took out my deck and redid all the connections and now I have no sound at all. I bench tested my deck and the left channel isnt working so I bought a new deck and installed it. Still no sound. I check the Pioneer 6 1/2" rounds I put in the front doors and the electrical tape wound itself off! So I fixed it hoping now I have sound. Nope!

So screw it! Im running new wires to the speakers and amplifying them. I just dont know what amp/size to get. Can someone suggest/link me to a good cheap amp that will work?

25-50 watt??? Is that per channel? I know amps have rating like 400, 800, 1000 and such.

most likely per channel. a 400 watt rms 4 channel amp is probly what you will want. it will push 50 per channel. when you are looking at boxes, begin with the ones that say 800 watt 4 channel. usually the watts in big bold letters are the max output and not rms. anything past the rms rating will be distorted and sound worse than no sound at all.

Ok I just bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=250108664568&rd=1&rd=1

sounds good. I know kenwood used to be an excellent brand, and i believe they still are. They had problems with their head units i believe, but i have never heard anything bad about their amps or speakers.
