R.I.P. Explorer 4/24/10

Well had a accident saturday night, it was raining and a guy ran the light (just so happend to be an explorer sport). I tried to stop but my breaks kept locking up with the road being so wet. We hit him doing between 40-45 mph, the first couple were just a couple of last glory pics.

Yikes!!!! I hope everyone was okay after that.It is sad to see an explorer taken out like that. Hopefully you can get some insurance coin to replace your ride.

Wow. I hope you all walked away with no injuries. Looks like front end took the brunt of the hit but did thhe side tag a post or something? Kinda odd is the fact that just 4 hours before the crash you took some glory pictures of your truck.

Yeah I thought that was kinda wierd, I called 911 at 8:00 on the dot. And the side got hit by the back end of his ex. If you look real close and you can see where the lip of the rim hit the door. I really wish I woulda looked at his truck. I spotted him coming through the light about the time he was in the middle of the intersection, so by then he was less than 100 ft away. I immediately started easing on the brakes and got over to the right hand lane. But none the less he kept on coming through the light so. The only thing I don't understand is what the hell he was doing running the light at 10mph as the PR says. Every one walked away luckly. I took my girl to the doc yesterday she checked out fine but she said her chest was still hurting and she's pretty bruised up. I only had a little scrape on my arm and a knot on my leg from it hitting the E-brake pedal. I'm going to talk with a lawyer tuesday hopfully they'll take my case any hepfull tips before I go to see him?
