Rack and pinion

2001 Explorer Sport
I was wondering if anyone had to have there rack and pinion and power steering pump replace on their Explorer sport. My truck is a 2001 with 56k miles. anyone have the same problem and how much did it cost to fix?

I've had a rear pinion bearing replaced in my explorer. If thats what you mean by pinion
