For lack of a better place to ask this question, I put it here.

Is there a better way to dispose of my old radiator that I just replaced, other than putting it out with the trash? Recycling? Selling to someone who rebuilts? There's a lot of material in this thing, and I hate to just put it in the trash if there is a better way.

Cool. I'll look into that. Any ideas how to hunt one down?

I have several places which take scrap metal. They buy lead, brass, copper, aluminum, tin, stainless steel, car batteries, etc. Look up scrap metal in the yellow pages. Some places won't just take a radiator. They want a car load to put on a scale. I accumulate stuff from doing electrical, plumbing, locks, working on my vehicles, etc.
