Radiator Fan

Has anyone done or thought of doing a manual to electric radiator fan conversion? Would prolly free up 5-7HP at the crank. Its not much, but every horse counts..

It has been discussed in great detail, (especially by Aldive) on these forums, covering all Explorer engines and fan types

Most off road Explorer's with the OHV 4.0L have found almost every brand and size of electric fan in-adequate to cool the truck under heavy hard use.

I loved the 16" fan I had with my 2.9L, but even with 2400 CFM it was not enough to keep the 4.0L cool under 4x4 conditions....
