Radiator Question

In front of my radiatior there is another radiator-type object. I have heard it has something to do with the A/C and have also heard it maybe a tranny cooler, what is it? Any help is appreciated.

If you have a/c, then one of those things in front of the radiator is the a/c condenser. The a/c condenser is roughly similar in size to the radiator fin area.

If you have the towing package, then you have a transmission cooler up front as well. A stock trans cooler is smallish and will be offset to the driver's side.

So there can be 2 different objects in front of the rad.
The good thing is that if you want to remove/replace the radiator itself, you don't have to remove the a/c condenser or trans cooler to do so.
