Radiator Reserve Coolant Level

What is the normal level for the reserve coolant? I have a 98 4 door XLT 4.0 SOHC and the coolant level is about an inch above the "cool fill" mark.

Mines at the cold fill mark. If i keep it above that it all goes away. So... majic area for me in the cold fill line
