My 09 factory stock radio is slowing going dark. The display works fine, but the buttons are going dark. In researching the problem, I have run across several posts about re-soldering all the resistors on the main circuit board, but I haven't found anything about replacing the actual bulbs. I'm assuming there are bulbs, not LED's in this radio? Any info on bulb supplier and replacement instructions? I'm going to try the re-soldering, but as long as I'm in the radio I want to replace the bulbs too. Thanks.

I have not seen any threads or heard anyone with this problem which is why you are not getting any replies. But most likely they are common parts that you could look up on a place like digi-key and get replacements. If you do decide to diagnose and repair it then please post instructions and parts if any. I know its not much help but somebody has to be the first to try a repair worst thing that happens is you mess it all up and need a new radio.

Re soldiering worked for me. There are youtube videos out there. No bulbs to replace in my case.
