so we have a 2014 explorer and have had it now for just a year. While driving home from the city today, the sync radio (yes we have satelite) has decided to scroll-the radio station can be playing and then the station starts scrolling until it decides to stop on a Radom station...at this point it won't always stay and may change and scroll again...not sure what to do. First issue that we have with this vehicle that we haven't known what to do.

Welcome to the Forum.
Is there any possibility the 'seek' or similar buttons may be causing this? Have you tried using them just to check to see if that may stop the issue?
Also, please add the trim level of the Explorer to your profile so it shows in the margin. That, can at times be helpful info. Thanks.

When this happened did you happen to be turning the steering wheel? In park try turning the wheel lock to lock and see if that does anything.

I've seen clock spring wires go bad and cause radios to seek channels before.

So today as kids go off to school The radio is still being crazy, tried to scan/search, mess with the stealing wheel controls(thinking maybe something was stuck), still acting crazy....decide to take down the gps and unplug it---now the radio is working and not scrolling, I don't quite get it. Have to run to the city later this afternoon, that will be the next test to see if the problem is fixed, or at least know what/when the radio went crazy and a possible cause....now to call on the field service notice that we have-

I have a 2013 Sport with the Sync Radio with Sirius Xm. has anyone had issues with their radio just randomly changing stations ?
