Radio/dash staying on after key is removed. Help!

Hi, my dad who is not computer savvy, recently bought a 2004 model Ford Explorer. He's having problems with a flat battery because after the car is off and the key removed, the radio stays on. At first the antenna was stuck so he had that fixed and the problem hasn't gone away. He says it only started after he blew a fuse and replaced it but that could be coincidental? Anyway just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem or if anybody knows how to fix this. Any help is appreciated.

open the front door, my '03 x will keep the radio on for exactly 10 minutes, i use it as a timer, when you open one of the front doors it'll shut off

Nope, it stays on all day every day, closed door, open door, can leave it for hours and it's still on. It did turn used to turn itself off, after one of the fuses was changed it hasn't worked properly anymore.

no idea then, maybe the wrong size fuse?
