It's been unseasonably warm here in Oregon and after my 2006 XLT sat in the parking lot last week (100+ temps on the dashboard readout) all day, I started the car, turned on the AC and drove out, but the radio power was intermittent until the interior got cooled down--about 30 minutes later; the radio would simply power down and after about 8-10 secs, power up again. This went on for about 30 minutes. Has anyone had such a hot weather problem with a radio. This power loss problem was a system problem-affecting all features on the equipment--radio/CD/AUX.

Hot Weather Ford Radio

I'm not sure of the specifics other than the fact that it's a single disc CD AM/FM radio with an AUX function allowing for an I Pod connection.
