radio light

i have a 2000 limited explorer. my radio does not light up anymore and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to fis it so that i dont have to pay a whole lot of money to get it fixed.

This is a very common problem; it is discussed in the following thread - Dead Link Removed

I finnaly ditched the factory HU and went with a JVC MP3 HU and have never regretted the move.
