Radio nightmare

Im having trouble wiring in a aftermarket stereo ,I installed a sony deck before and it worked now i am trying to install an Alpine.All that i get is power on w/nosound It has a remote factory amp w/no sub.How do I get my deck to work .I have had this problem with other decks also.

turn on the amp. are you using a harness? if so then connect the blue/white on the gray plug to the amp(and/or antenna) remote off of the alpine

let someone else fix it for you or it will most likely drive you nuts like it did me cause it was cheap labor anyway...and I got my harness back to stock and installed stock HU for right now cause it steal has the factory speakers ...
