radius arms bushings

Can anyone give me a step by step on how to replace my radius arm bushings on my 91 explorer.

And what i should be looking for

Forget the disassembly way ! And; Forget the grinder ! I tried both on a 91 4x4.

Disassembly 1st - The axle hits the frame before the control arm comes out of the frame mount.

Grinding rivits 2nd - After grinding the driver's side I then found out I couldn't swing a hammer to knock it out.

Then I just drilled out the rivits on the pass side. First use a small drill as a pilot. Then use a larger drill to cut away the rivit to the frame. Once at the frame, since you have a large hole in it, you can use a punch or chistle to colapse it and push it out. WAY EASIER THAN THE OTHER TWO METHODS !

I used cheap drills too. The metal is tough but soft. Just don't put a lot of pressure on the drill. As long as you see metal being cut out, it's doing it's job. A variable speed drill will help. People make the mistake of putting too much pressure on a drill bit. That burns the tip and distroys the bit.
 






I have used Duff's method and concur.
 






That's pretty funny, I was reading all of these posts and thought, "what are they saying? To change the RAB's you either take a drill and grind the rivets out or you disassemble and move the beam."

hehe. I have often used the term "grind" and "drill" interchangeably. (I of course recognize the difference) but I often "grind" with my drill...as I call it
