i was thinken of purchasing the rancho rs5000 twin tubed gas charged shocks, mainly because i like the idea of a 2-2.5" lift but i was wondering first would there be any other changing of parts (springs), and also if u have a 2" (or around there) lift hows the ride (rough, comfortable)...thanks

ya that was for the front and back by the way

I have a 2in Skyjacker on mine but I actually got about 3.5". I just put it in and still haven't gotten my new shocks, (the current ones are for stock height). The ride has not gotten rough. It did stiffen the suspension but that is what I wanted. I am really impressed with the lift, plus it was only $180.

do u have a link for the skyjacker lift?

wat happens if i have my stock shocks and put this skyjacker kit in

and one more question i was told that if i do raise my explorer ill need to re-align my front end...i was wondering how true that is

Yes an alignment is necessary after the lift.
