Looking to upgrade the shocks on the explorer. Its a 2001 sport 4x4 that has TT and shackles. I am looking to upgrade to rancho shocks because thats what i used in the past as an "upgrade" over factory which i have on there now. I seen these rancho shocks and seem to get a good review but mostly on light trucks. Anyone use these shocks or have any recomendations? I want some feed back for aftermarket shocks.

I don't have much experience testing shocks, but I've driven our Expedition first with OEM shocks, then with Rancho somethings, and it was a nice difference. On my explorer, i went from OEM to Bilstein Heavy Duty, and man, it's great.

I have sold a lot of Rancho RSX's for my street guys. I personally used the Rancho RS9000's on a 93 Ranger. I loved them. A little pricey but worth it.-j

I have them and they do a good job, plus they are adjustable. I would recommend them.

The 9000x shocks are the best I have ever used; and I have "tried" most.

I would also recommend them.
