random cargo space question

Any one know if i could fit a 302 in the back of my explorer?

Its a 70's model and doesn't have the air cleaner or carb on it.

Just thought i'd ask before i go try to move it.

I plan on strapping it down the best i can in the back on some plastic to catch anything that might drip. also probably have a few peices of wood shimmed under it to try and get it to sit alright.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.hummmmmmmmmmmmm.ya why not the engine in the X will fit, why not a 302. go for it , and ifit does not work take pics and post
