Hi everyone. Just curious if its possible to fit a twin mattress in the back of a 2000 explorer? I dont have the mattress available to measure or else I would have done that. I know the roof is an option, but I would like to avoid that if possible. Thanks for your input!

I have a sport (shorter) and still fit a full sized mattress. Albeit, with my seat on the setting closest to the steering wheel.....

Should not be a problem, I fit a mattress and box spring in my '97.

I've wondered why all of the aero beds come in king and queen sizes instead of "Explorer", "Expedition", "Yukon", "XC90", "X5", etc.

Now that's something to get into.

I haven't tried fitting a mattress in the back of my Explorer, but judging from the night I spent sleeping in the back of it, it would be a tight squeeze to get to lay flat if I remember right.
