Does anyone know if the 97 or newer Ranger has the same set up as the 97 or newer Explorer?

I saw a 97/98 Ranger yesterday with what looks like a 3" lift from Rancho. I'm guessing Rancho because all the parts were red. It was a really nice set up with 32" tires.

I know that a 2WD Ranger uses coil springs in front. Several companies are making a lift for them. An Explorer, 2WD and 4WD, use torsion bars. Just from looking, the spindle uprights and a-arms look the same. I have read that there are some differences. No one seems to know for sure what the differences in the 4WD Ranger/Explorer are or if there are any. They both use torsion bars. We'll have to wait and see what Trailmaster comes up with......plan on big bucks though!!
