Ranger Sport front diff

Hi all,

I currently drive an 02 explorer, and while the 4.6L is nice, I need a bed, and I want a manual transmission, aparently I cant have that combo in an Explorer so I have to look elsewhere. here is my question:

I spec'd out a 2011 "sport" with "3:73 limited slip differential" does that apply to both the front and rear or just the rear? I don't want an open diff in the front.

any help would be appreciated.

The factory limited slip diff option is rear only. The front diff is open.

In the aftermarket, Torsen offers its geared LSD for the Ranger's D35 front and there are also a couple of front lockers available.

I am holding out for a selectable front locker for my Ranger. I have been waiting a long time though.
