Really-really bad reception from my Pioneer 4100

Okay ever since I installed my amp I have been getting the worst reception imaginable. I mean stations that used to come in crystal clear are now full of static. I have checked numerous times to make sure everything was hooked up tight and everything is okay. The one thing I could think of is my In-line fuse is mounted right where the attenna comes down. Could the power cable from the amp be causing poor reception?? Before my Pioneer was getting the best reception I had ever experienced (Supertunner 3)!! Thanks

I have the same radio in my truck and i had a similar problem.. what i finally figured out is because of the bad ground on my amp i was getting interference through the radio reception..hope this helps
