I currently own an Aiwa CDC-MP3 and im having some weird problems. I dont think its the head unit, but everytime i accelerate or make a left hand turn, the radio starts to cut out. I dont loose power, just sound. It doesnt happen when the car is revved in neutral or in overdrive or when i cut the wheel to the left when im not moving. Ive made left hand turns and put the tranny in neutral and it stays on. It seems to only happen when the car is in OD and moving. I've checked all my connections and wires and theyre all fine. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Its driving me insane and I cant figure out what it is.

Hmm, I've got that HU and don't have any problems with it, besides the occasional skip. Does it happen only with a CD, or with the radio also? If it doesn't happen with the radio, I'd guess it has something to do with the CD spinning/reading mechanisms. If it happens with the radio also, I dunno. Good luck though.

radio, cd, or cd changer, it doesnt matter...

I know you said you checked all of the connections but I would be suspicious of the stock amp wire... that is if you have one. If you do it should be connected to the blue remote wire. It could be possible that when you accel or turn it is moving slightly and causing the amp to lose power which will cut off the speakers.

Well, I got it fixed... turns out the amp bypass harness I got wasn't full connected and was, I guess, rattling loose. I plugged it back in fully and I actually talked my dad into going to buy me a better aftermarket amp. Score!! Thanks for the suggestions and help, I reall appreiate it.
