the rear anti lock and break light often stays lite and does not turn off, and recently my explorer will make a weird thumpign noise as if im driving over something every once in a while, i dont know if the two are related but any help would be great thnaks!

Which break light is that? If it's the parking break light it's probably the small switch on the drivers side wall down by the parking break. They seem to kinds suck on explorers. Pull the plug and see if the light goes off.

its not the emergency break, i noticed it was sticky to but it isnt that its the rear anti lock light so i think thats my abs light...it comes on randomly all the time and i think it may be causing the noise that sounds like im driving over soemthing

iv learnd that ther "rear anti lock" light and the " abs" light are the same indocation it just depends on what modle you have. I get a similer problom when i drive for about 15min stright my "abs" light come on but i dont get any noise. Try disconecting the rear anti lock/abs senser and see if the light stays on all the time or if ther even any change
