Rear cargo cover/shade HELP!!!!!!!

My son unwound the damn thing and I guess I fail to understand just what the instructions in the manual are trying to say because no matter what I do, the damn thing will not work. Does anyone have personal experience with repairing one of these POS? I'm dyin over here!

Those covers are inherently weak. I'm pretty sure you need a new one. I watch eBay for them. I had one crap out just like you mentioned and it was under warranty. I got a new one at the time.

There is a writeup in the manual, here is a link. (Maybe for others if you already have tried it as it sounds like you have) Not sure if it's the same thing you're looking at, but it may help?
