OK, How do i figure out the size of my center pin (3/4" or 7/8") without pulling my diff cover?

I know i can pull the diff cover and manually measure it, but is there any way to figure it out without pulling the cover? I found a really good deal on a Powertrax No-Slip Locker for the 8.8LS carrier with a 3/4" Cross Pin.

Do i have 3/4" or 7/8"?

Please help :(

Sorry you have a 7/8" cross pin.

The F-150/Expedition 8.8 uses a 3/4" cross pin.

Damn that sucks. So the expedition has a smaller cross-pin than the explorer?

Yes I think it has to do with the kind of limited slips the full-sizes use. The center pin isn't something that will break anyway.
