My rear driver's side window was shot out with a pellet gun some time ago.

I've found a replacement window in a junkyard for around $28, but I can't get to the rivets because the window is rolled all the way up and there is no power to the motor.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me what must be done in order to slide the window down far enough to reach the rivets, so that they can be drilled out?

Thanks a lot!

What I did when I needed a window was take my cordless drill battery and touch it to two wires going to the motor. Switching the wires from + to - on the battery will make it go up, or down.
