Rear end grinding sound?

Hey guys,

I tried to search the forum to come up with something, but couldn't find it!

I recently purchased a '02 Explorer with the auto 4x4. I notice that when I begin to turn at a stop sign or into a parking lot, I get a slight grinding sound/feeling that feels like it is coming from the rear end. It almost feels like the 4x4 is engaged and fighting the turning on the asphalt. Does this sound familar to anyone and do you have any solutions?

you should prolly replace all wheel bearings.. they are notorious for wearing out fast on explorers.
