I step into it slightly and I feel the truck torque to the right side and when I let off it sways back to the drivers side. I replaced the wheel bearing on the drivers side and the rear right tie rod as well. I'm wondering if the pull is telling me I need a 4 wheel alignment for the rear tie rod that was put on at wheel bearing time?

I just got done changing the rear shaft seals and quick struts and it still behaves this way. On the freeway at hwy speeds it is pretty noticeable more scary too!

Maybe a sway bar upgrade I guess that is the description I have given?

Get the alignment checked. Even if it is a little off in the rear it will cause the issue you are having

Any noise from the rear end? If no noise I think it is just alignment. This sway was what I was experiencing with both of my rear bearings shot. But I had noise too. I have a recent thread (mostly a venting) on this issue.

I have some wheel bearing noise but I'm not sure if its front or back. There isn't any play in the wheel itself when on the jack and free wheeling. It could be bearings I guess just not sure how to locate which one it is or both?

This is what I did to find the rear bearing noise. I had ny wife drive it and I sat in the 3rd row seat. While sitting back there the left side was VERY obvious, but as I leaned my head toward the passenger side floor I could hear the noise on that side as well. On the drivers side I had vibration as well that I could feel sitting in the 3rd row. If you do not have the 3rd row seat then site in the cargo area and listen!! Also, I had her drive it and me follow behind in my Sport Trac. I could actually see the wobble in the drives wheel at the same time she was feeling the "sway" while driving. The shop I use initially did not detect bad bearings because the usual "grab the tire feel for movement" test they do while up on the lift was not giving them any movement.

I'm thinking its a wheel bearing I put one on a while back on another rig felt the same but the wheel pull test failed on that one that's how I knew it was bad. I think I might do both rears.
