Hi Does anyone know if the standard rearend in the 4x4 exes is limited slip or not.? the differential in my 94 ex xlt appears not to be limited--Elbow.

No, the standard rear end is not limited slip. You will have to find the axle code on your door sticker to see if it is limited slip or not.

Jack up the rear wheels. Turn one of them either direction. If both turn the same direction it is a limited slip. If the opposite wheel spins the opposite direction, it is an open diff. Make sure the brakes are not dragging while doing this.
