Rear entertainment center

Hello all,
My first time posting here. I come from the Ford Diesel world, but grew up in a Ranger...got my wife a 2007 Eddie Bauer Explorer now.

I have a question. Her explorer has every option except the rear entertainment center. I found a few used ones pretty cheap. I was just wondering if anyone has installed one? I just didn't know if like every other Ford all the wiring is already there or am I going to have to buy a wiring harness. Any input would be awesome.

I would imagine that some of the wiring it there. I took my 06 to a audio video shop and had them install a bigger one instead of messing with a factory unit. I like the look of the aftermarket one, not as bulky as the factory installed unit.

agreed the factory dvd unit is ugly and when in use it blocks the rearview mirror. and probally a head knocker!
I went with rosen av7500 dvd headrests way better, I bought a set used for 200, then I bought the lockpic which added the dvd to the radio. I also added a night vision back up camera, I think I might have 400 into all. I posted pics somewhere on this form.
