Rear Gear Oil Question(s) 2002 EB

Have ~2qts of Pennzoil 80-140 Gear Lube. Saw someone suggest 75-140W synthetic...can they be mixed if that is currently in my differential? Or should I drain & refill (obviously a better sol'n but more involved) . Trying to tackle only a couple of things at once...thanks again to all!

Personally, I would drain and refill. I don't think synthetic buys you anything. Remember the friction modifier if you have an lsd.

I wouldn't mix them, I would drain & refill.
