Rear hatch on 99 Sport

Need help in removing interior trim on the rear hatch.

Piece of cake.... 5 minute job.

Remove the plug at the bottom of the window (easiest with the window open... it's the lower plug, not the one in the center) and remove the screw.

Open the hatch, and remove the two screws in the grab handle.

Pull the top and sides of the trim away from the window opening. Those three sides are just held in place with spring clips.

Slide the whole trim piece forward towards the front of the truck/top of the hatch.

It should pop right off. :)

Well said.Just be careful when taking the trim off around the window,those spring clips can be a PIA.
