rear hatch

I have a 1998 xlt can I instal a rear hatch door on it from a 99 sport model

I was just wondering the same thing today but the sports don't have the rear wiper arm holster the wiper arm just rests on the window great ? I'm interested in the answer

I dont see why it wouldnt work, they should be the same door. with the exception of the 3rd brake light changing on the newer models and adding the license plate to the door.

Yea and the wiring may be a little different. My 97 sport has a 99 or 2000 rear hatch.

Only in 2003.

98-01 4 door and 98-00 Sport are the same hatch, aside from the bottom trim if equipped.
