I remember reading long ago about how to make the rear hitch sit flush with the bumper when you do the body lift. Anybody have an input on this?

Mine had a little bit of tolerance in the mounting holes so I was able to slid it up a 1/2in or so so that that it didn't look terrible. My only other thought is custom fabled brackets. you could maybe bolt a pice of steel to the frame where the hitch horns sit on the frame so the steel acts like a big washer but that's as sketchy as putting really tall lift blocks on a truck I would think. If you are only using it for a hitch rack or bike rack I'd say that's ok but if you plan on using a trailer I wouldn't do that.
