Hello. New at this. And not much of a mechanic...but i want to learn and have a patient friend. My 92 4 door is sagging in the rear on the left side. I'm assuming i need to replace the leaf springs...is there any other reason this would occur? I'm considering lifting it a few inches as the coils need to be replaced as well. Any reasonably priced kits out there.

Driver side sag is a very common problem. Try using the search feature to find information on it, 7th button from the left in the black bar at the top of the thread.

Thanks. I did what you suggested and am amazed! What a great site. Wish i'd stumbled upon this sooner.

welcome to the board!!!

Now, the best way for you would be to get newer leafpacks from a bone yard and buy a Skyjacker 2"lift. 2"lift comes with new longer front coil springs and Add-A-Leaf for the rear. You also might want to replace shocks at the same time. If you're willing to keep the existing leafpacks just install Add-A-Leaf and new shocks and front coil springs.... this will give you at least 2"of lift over stock and a bit stiffer ride. I know that Rocky Mountain Suspension carry the Skyjacker stuff and are reasonably priced.

good luck,
