Rear Light problem

Hi all new to this site.
I Have brought a 97 explorer, after having an mot it has a few problems the one of them is the rear n/s light/brake light, when i turn the lights on it looks the same as when you brake. I have swaped the right bulb for the left and it still has the same problem. any ideas

thats great, why dont you fill us in on what explorer you have (color, leather or cloth and anything special done to it) and where abouts your from?

hi, i have a blue 1997 explorer cloth interior, sqeeks to high heaven, needs some tlc quite a few things wrong with it, but it is a great vehicle. oh and i live in staffordshire.

it all squeaks, well not quite, LH ball joint (being done on friday) stearing squeaks, reverse whines but its still a tidy motor for the year ,few rust spots just needs some tlc
