I took mine to a shop and they said a glass guy has to come out and replace it. It was because of the design by ford that it wasn't just a panel they could pop on and off. 400 dollar estimate to have the entire thing done, includes new piece and painted to match
it's not the rear emblem, it's the cracked panel that you need to remove. they can be pulled out by force since they are just held by an adhesive. once you have that panel pulled out, you can clean the surface and apply a new panel using 3m double sided tape. you can also try some anti-rust (or paint it) the strip that holds the lock assembly and wiper. mine was so rusted that it made the lock rattle and cause the rear windshield to not seal properly.
I did mine September last year and it's still holding up well..
