After replacing rear leaf springs , shackles , and shocks..
All was well at first.
Then after a couple days I noticed if shifting around and bad thunk noise .
To my surprise the upper bushing in the frame on just one side is able to slide over about 1/4 inch .
Other side is fine but basically from living in the rust belt..
This being in MN whe I removed those bushing alot rust came with it and basically enlarged to opening just barely but enough that the one bushing can move under pressure..
Not alot but it's noticeable and makes driving a bit uncomfortable..
I'm thinking I put a couple tack welds to hold it in place..
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
Let me know what ya got..
Thanks in advance !!

Sure you can weld it. It may take more than tack welds though. If the rust is really bad attempting to weld will blow through the rust. You may need to cut away the rusted material and weld in a patch with a hole for the shackle bushing.
