Rear springs

Just finished looking thought that thread about using f150 springs. I just want to make sure i read it right. 80 to 96 springs will work for this conversion? Also are there different spring packs for the explorer? I kind of remember the dealer asking me what code(letter) i was looking for. If so is the main leaf the same on them or how do I find out what I have? I would like to get explorer springs as well as f150s to do the conversion, my explorer is my only ride.

The only differences in spring packs is if you have a 4-leaf set up, or a uni-leaf set up. You have a 4 leaf.

Be sure your getting the leafs for less then $35. You can have an AAL kit with longer pin shipped to your door for that price.

Has anyone just used the F-150 springs with four leafs instead of the five? I can find alot of four spring packs even a couple with the axle removed aready.
