I saw the other post about washer fluid, but I didn't want to hi-jack the thread. My rear fluid works, but foams and pours out??? Is this normal or is it supposed to spray like the front?? Is the rear nozzle replaceable?

Same thing happens to me and I'm getting sick and tired of it. If you track something down I'd be interested to know.

Mine does the same thing and I often wondered if that was normal. :dunno:

Gonna have to look into replacing it.

I just got mine in the mail, replaced it, and unfortunately had no fix. Still no spray, just gushes out. I'll take a good look at the nozzle, hose, and pressure soon. Hopefully the fix is apparent.

Great.....I guess we should have asked FordFool2 if he replaced his with success?? Oh well....mine is on it's way....I'm sure with the same results as yours Mr Dubya:(

i think it has to do with the design of the pump/hose length and nozzle size. if there is not enough pressure going to the nozzle, it wont "spray" but rather pour out like it currently does. the easiest way to picture it is like a garden hose or more so a fire hose. you have to build pressure in the firehose with water from the pump truck before opening the nozzle in order to get the "spray" effect that is characterized by fire hose nozzles. if its not pressurized before opening the valve at the nozzle, the water will just gush out and not "spray"

Makes very good sense!! If you would have posted sooner, I would not of ordered a new nozzle to replace my perfectly good one...lol.

I will try to contact vendor and see about refusing shipment and get refund?? Thanks wbrudi28

Wife's expedition does the same thing.

I fully agree with the theory of the pressure. However I can confirm that my rear nozzle used to spray a mist when I first got the car. So there is very likely a pressure problem somewhere down the line.
