When I push in the clutch feels like I am applying the brakes, But I am not. I changed all the drums and shoes in the rear. After I was done it did the same things still. Jacked up both rear wheels and noticed the wheels spun in either direction very difficult. I disconnected the parking brake cable, thinking it was sticking or something, still spun hard. What could be causing this?!?!?! Help! its a 2003 4x4 with 4.0 and a manual tranny 70,000 miles

Sonds like a caliper is hanging up.

Thanks for the input. I guess it was the adjusters in the brakes were not adjusting correctly.

if its your rear, then it defently sounds like its the adjudters on the drum brake assembly. there are 2 ways you can adjust that. 1st drive the car in reverse and brake to a stop, and go a short distance and stop ans repeat this like 3 or 4 times. this allows the adjusters in the drums to adjust them selves automatically. or you can remove the wheel and rotor, and loosen the adjuster manually, and try until its turns freely.
