Does anyone know how to tell if your wheel bering in the rear is gone ....I'm getting a clunk when I turn and I can smell somthing burning from the wheel when i STOP AND THERES FLUID LEAKING SOMWHERE AROUND THW WHEEL.......i DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST HOW TO FIX IT IF IT IS ...i CAN DO THE FRONT BUT i DON'T HAVRA CLUE ABOUT THE BACK

Never have had to do it on my 92 but replaced a rear seal on my 97 and decided to pull the bearing too. Had a really good bearing puller and still I never had anything so hard to take out. Just make sure you have access to a slide hammer puller.

Not so sure you have bearing problems. Seals pop out pretty easily. You may just have brake problems. The axle is removed by removing differential cover, unbolting a pin (not as easy as it sounds), pushing in the axle, and removing the C clip, yada yada yada. It will be obvious or it won't. Might be a good time to get a book. Think you need to remove the drum first and see what the problem is. I've had rear brakes do strange things when pieces fall off. The leak may even stop if you fix the heating problem.
