I have a 93 xlt . The rear defogger doesn't come on. The indicator light on the switch doesn't light up. I checked the terminals at the switch connector with a multi-meter: I got voltage to the dash light, battery voltage on one large terminal, and none on any other terminal when the ignition was turned on. Where does the ignition power come from. Is there a relay in the circuit and if so,where is it located? The fuse is good as it also runs turn signals and other things that all work. Any thoughts out there?

The next day:
I opened the switch assy and found the relay was built in. When I shorted the batt power to the terminal that should be ignition and pushed the micro switch the system worked. This proved that the switch and relay were good, but no power to the ign terminal. The wire is brown with an orange stripe. I can't see where is goes from there to find the open. What path is used to get to/from the fuse panel?
