Rear window wiper arm problem

Hi, I purchased a 2000 Explorer XLT a few months ago. Had a few probs with it,but the one I'm not sure how to resolve is that the rear window wiper blade only seems to touch a third or so of the rear window when it's wiping. I tried a new blade and the results were the same. The service manager at the local Ford dealer suggested either bending the arm or replacing the arm with a new one. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you resolve it? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer

Hey Scar, Thanks a lot. That thread was very helpful. I'll take a look at the wiper arm today. I knew there was more to it than just bending the arm.
